Keryneia (Greek: Κερύνεια) is a Greek village located west of Corinth and Athens, north-northwest of Kalavryta and east of Aigio and Patras. The GR-9 (Patras - Pyrgos - Kyparissia is around the area. Keryneia had a 2001 population of was 103 for the village and 435 for the municipal district. Its main industry is agriculture with some other services.

It is a new village and its residents arrived from Ano Keryneia which is located 4 km. The origin of the name dates back to the ancient times and its ancient settlement, whose residents founded Keryneia in northern Cyprus and gave its name. Keryneia has approximately 5 to 6 km of paved road and 10 km of gravel roads. Aravonitsa also has approximately 6 to 8 km of hydro lines as well as phone lines. Houses were stone-built until the 1950s and did not surpass modern-style homes until the 1980s. It was linked with pavement in the 1980s. Most of the homes are abandoned today. After World War II and the Greek Civil War, much of the population left for larger towns and cities especially the nearby Patras. The population declined since 1981.
Its main production are fruits including watermelon, melon, figs and vegetables including corn, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, cucumbers and others as well as dairy, livestock, olives and others. The majority of the population are based in other businesses as well as agriculture.
